Green Papaya

The green papaya is fermented on site at Pure Fiji using the skin, flesh and seeds.

The green papaya is very high in papain- a proteolytic enzyme which is capable of dissolving or breaking down the outer layer of the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and assists in the formation of granulation
tissue or new skin.

The papaya develops in contact with the skin and enhanced antioxidant action with allows to slow the oxidation process that leads to skin aging while stimulating collagen synthesis

Papaya enzymes can promote skin metabolism, help dissolve the accumulation of sebum in the pores and aging skin, making skin appear brighter and refreshed.

Green papaya also contains vital nutrients including potassium, magnesium and vitamins A, C, E and B. Papaya contains vitamin A which accelerates the formation of new cells, it protects the external layers of the skin, vitamin c is an antioxidant, and builds capillary strength, improving smoothness, softness, and resiliency. The content of vitamin C in papaya is actually 48 times higher than in apple!
